Leica Special Editions

Over the years, Leica introduced several special series.

The front runner is still the Leica M6, which was produced over 40 different editions during its entire production life.

Even today, small series of modified models are produced on special occasions or in cooperation. These special editions are very popular among collectors.

Leica M10-P "Ghost Edition" Prototype


A prototype of the Leica M10-P “Ghost Edition” designed for Hodinkee. Just five of these prototypes are known to exist.

Leica M6 "die letzen 999"


One of the last 999 Leica M6 cameras produced in mint condition including all original accessories. Only a third of these are in 0,58x finder version.

The Leica Monochrom „Drifter“ Edition was produced after a collaboration with Lenny Kravitz.  Unique for this special edition is the brown finish and the exotic leather covering.

Unused special edition to celebrate 40th anniversary of Leica M, which combines features of M3 and M6 cameras. All in all, there were only 1640 of these cameras produced.
